Job Description
Description Experienced Iron Worker II, knowledge and verifiable experience of at least three years are required for this position. Professional responsible for performing a variety of tasks of the fabrication, erection, and installation of structural steel and metalwork. Work on construction sites, industrial plants, safety knowledge while working at heights is essential. Position requires expertise in welding, rigging, blueprint reading, and leadership skills to supervise and train junior Iron Workers. Erect and install structural steel frames, columns, beams, and girders according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes. Fabricate metal components such as stairs, handrails, and ornamental elements in the shop or on-site. Rig/hoist heavy steel components into position using cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment. Adhere to safety protocols/procedures to ensure a safe environment Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute ironworking tasks accurately. Provide guidance and supervision to junior ironworkers, apprentices, and helpers. Train them in proper techniques and safety practices. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project requirements. Coordinate with other tradespeople and construction professionals to ensure smooth workflow and project completion. Qualifications
