Job Description

Structural Steel FitterWe are hiring an experienced Structural Steel Fitter for a fabrication shop opportunity in the Pryor area. This position is ideal for someone who can confidently read shop drawings, perform accurate steel fit-up, and maintain quality and safety in a fast-paced production environment.
Pay:
$20.00-$25.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30

Pryor areaKey ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret structural steel shop drawings and weld symbolsMeasure, lay out, fit, align, and assemble structural steel componentsFit and tack-weld beams, columns, plates, angles, channels, and miscellaneous steelVerify dimensions, alignment, and fit-up for accuracy and qualitySafely operate hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and shop equipmentCoordinate with welders and other fabrication personnel to support production schedulesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaQualificationsPrevious structural steel fitting or fabrication experience preferredAbility to read and understand structural steel shop drawingsKnowledge of steel layout, fitting, and fabrication methodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced shop environmentTack-welding experience is a plusCrane and rigging experience is a plusWhat We're Looking ForA dependable, safety-minded individual who takes pride in accurate fabrication work and can work effectively as part of a structural steel production team.
