Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Scrap Metal Worker to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for handling scrap metal materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Your efforts will help ensure efficient processing of scrap metal while supporting the overall safety and productivity of our operations. Potential to full time for the right person that is interest in getting into the HVAC trades. Responsibilities Manage the sorting, cleaning, and processing of scrap metal materials to prepare them for recycling or sale. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to handle large quantities of scrap metal and related materials. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing sanitation duties, including trash removal and debris cleanup. Assist with waste management tasks involving garbage trucks and sanitation equipment to ensure a tidy work environment. Follow safety protocols during all operations to prevent accidents and injuries. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly. Skills Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to scrap metal handling and recycling. Skilled in cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe work site. Strong attention to safety standards and protocols during all tasks.
