Full Job Description Summary:
Glue-Line employees will be working in a manufacturing fast-paced environment. Having an understanding of the production schedule is an essential job function. Most tasks consist of creating laminated glue lam beams working close with fellow production employees. A clean work area must be maintained throughout each shift as well as company rules and safety regulations must be followed at all times.
Responsibilities:
Includes but is not limited to the following: Be able to handle long lengths of lumber. Understanding a Glue Report/follow procedures. Be able to learn clamp pressure. Be able to learn Lay-up and Lockups. Be able to set camber jigs. Notify your supervisor of any quality issues immediately. Alert at all times. Be able to run a 35 lbs. air gun, and handle hand tools. Know and utilize all Lock-out/Tag-out procedures associated with your duties. Report any potential machinery defects immediately. Report any potential safety risks immediately.
