Job Title:
Fitter Job Description Join a dynamic metals fabrication shop that specializes in large and small custom projects, working on exciting contracts with leading companies in various industries. This role involves skilled TIG and MIG welding, primarily focusing on stainless steel and mild steel components. The position requires expertise in fitting up and fabricating directly from blueprints. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and smaller mild steel components. Conduct MIG welding on structural and high-stress parts. Fit and fabricate components based on blueprints. Ensure precise fabrication and welding to meet project specifications. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and efficiency. Essential Skills Proficiency in TIG welding on stainless steel. Experience in MIG welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. 5+ years of experience in stainless steel and mild steel fitting and welding. Strong fabrication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with flux core welding. Experience in layout and print reading. Why Work Here? The shop operates on a day shift from 6am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofOREGON CITY, OR.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
