Job Description

Metal Fabricator (Full-Time) Job Responsibilities Responsible for fabricating, positioning, aligning, and fitting metal structures to customer/job specifications.
Fabricator duties will entail:
Verifying conformance of materials to specifications with the use of squares, rulers, and measuring tapes. Aligning and fitting parts according to specifications. Positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts to form complete units or subunits. Studying drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences. Setting up and operating fabricating machines to bend, cut, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components. Laying out and examining metal stock or material pieces to be processed Welding fitted parts together. Lifting or moving materials and finished products. Removing high spots and cutting bevels Job Requirements Successful candidates for the role of Fabricator / Welder / Assembler will possess the following. Welding certifications or ability to obtain. Manual dexterity Critical thinking skills The ability to follow precise instructions. The ability to read and comprehend blueprints. Accuracy with measurements The ability to use hand tools. The ability to understand and execute verbal/written instructions. The ability to lift 50lbs. or more. Desire to maintain a clean, organized work area. The ability and willingness to be reliable when it comes to reporting to work and working safely and efficiently. Construction experience Carpentry and painting ability preferred. Ability to travel as needed to support customers/projects. Trait Requirements Must be detail-oriented and well organized. Must be able to work well alone and as a team member.
