Metal Fabricator Location:
Sewickley, PA Pay:
$18.00-$20.00+ per hour, based on experience Job Summary We are looking for a Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing and fabrication team in Sewickley, PA. This is a hands-on position working with metal materials and fabrication equipment to produce quality components. Previous metal fabrication experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate on our specific machinery and processes. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, construction, welding, assembly, or other hands-on environments are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools and equipment, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Operate metal fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal materials. Use hand tools and power tools to complete fabrication and assembly tasks. Follow work instructions, measurements, and production specifications. Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and proper fit. Make basic adjustments to equipment and processes as needed. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the work area. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE. Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals. Learn and become proficient with company-specific fabrication machinery and processes. Perform other production and fabrication duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous metal fabrication, manufacturing, production, machine operation, construction, welding, assembly, or mechanical experience is a plus. Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools. Ability to read a tape measure and work with basic measurements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new equipment. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials. Ability to safely lift and handle materials as required. Comfortable working around machinery, metal materials, and typical manufacturing noise. IND2
