Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Miscellaneous Steel Erector to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and assembly of various steel components primarily Railings and Stairs, ensuring structures are erected safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team dedicated to excellence in construction and steel fabrication. Responsibilities Erect and install miscellaneous steel components, including Railings and Stairs, beams, columns, braces, and framing elements according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery to lift, position, and secure steel structures Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly Collaborate with construction management and other trades such as concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and siding to coordinate project timelines and safety protocols Perform heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment and techniques while adhering to all safety standards Assist in the installation of metal building framing, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, stucco, siding, and restoration work as needed Conduct quality checks on installed steel components to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing materials and tools efficiently Experience Proven experience in steel building erection or miscellaneous steel installation on construction sites Skilled in welding techniques and operation of heavy equipment used in steel erection Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction management practices and site safety protocols Prior work experience required
