Job Description
Overview We are seeking two full time employee's to join our team as metal sorters. We offer on the job training so no experience with metals is needed but is definitely a plus. As a metal sorter you will be stationed on a conveyor line sorting through various metals (copper, brass, aluminum etc.) and placing them in the appropriate bins as they come down the belt. Duties Sort materials and items based on established guidelines and specifications. Perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment. Maintain clean work areas and equipment to meet safety standards. Ensure that all sorted materials are properly stored or disposed of according to company policies. Collaborate with team members to optimize sorting processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety practices. Previous experience in metal recycling operations is a plus but not mandatory. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions as this role will mainly be outdoors.
