Warehouse Associate (Picker/Packer) Job Description This role focuses on accurately picking, preparing, and packing customer orders in a busy warehouse and distribution environment. You ensure orders are correct, inventory is properly tracked, and productivity and safety standards are consistently met while working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Accurately retrieve items from inventory to fulfill customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems. Carefully pack orders to company quality standards, ensuring items are protected, correctly labeled, and ready for shipment. Verify order accuracy by checking item numbers, quantities, and descriptions against order documentation and system data. Maintain inventory control by scanning, counting, and tracking products as they move through the warehouse. Lift, carry, push, and pull boxes and materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis throughout the shift. Meet established productivity and performance goals while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Work independently to complete assigned tasks while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and RF scanners in a safe and efficient manner. Support a fast-paced distribution and fulfillment environment by adapting to changing priorities and order volumes. Follow all safety rules, including proper use of required safety shoes or steel-toe footwear and adherence to facility safety protocols. Maintain strong attendance and reliability to support team operations and workflow continuity. Assist with general labor tasks such as organizing work areas, staging orders, and moving product as needed. Essential Skills Experience with order picking and packing in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or similar environment. Proficiency using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems to locate, track, and verify products. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis. Strong attention to detail when verifying orders, item numbers, quantities, and inventory records. Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy standards. Comfort working in a fast-paced distribution or fulfillment environment with clear productivity expectations. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the duration of the shift. Strong attendance, reliability, and commitment to meeting work schedules and overtime needs when required. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings as required. Work Environment The role is based in a large warehouse and distribution facility operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The climate can vary by work area and season, and employees spend most of their shift standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving product. The environment is fast-paced with clear productivity expectations and a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Team members regularly use RF scanners, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment. Safety shoes or steel-toe footwear may be required, and the operation emphasizes a team-oriented atmosphere centered on safe work practices and dependable performance Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wind Gap, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
