PTR Baler and Compactor, a division of Komar Industries, is a world leader in the waste equipment industry. PTR helps companies achieve their green initiatives by reducing waste streams and increasing recycling efforts. The company manufactures and services balers, compactors and provides parts and resources to customers. In this role, you'll be supporting the installation of waste equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of commercial trash compactor and industrial balers Assist with site prep for installation. Work with 2-3 person team per installation Follow safety procedures and maintain safe work conditions. Wear and maintain all person protection equipment (PPE) Complete proper documentation with job numbers detailing time spent as well as any inefficiencies of jobsite conditions. Maintains professional demeanor and Customer Service orientation with customers. Maintain assigned service vehicle, tool inventory, parts inventory, and general upkeep of vehicle.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/Ged required; technical diploma preferred. 2 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, welding, and/or hydraulics 2 years of Forklift experience, certification a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors year-round. Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License required (DOT) Demonstrated ability to work independently. Ability to read and comprehend schematics/blueprints. Must be willing to work overtime when requested by management and based on business needs. Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task .
