Job Description
Job Overview Join our team as a Stone Fabrication Teammate and be a part of transforming raw materials into stunning, high-quality stone countertop surfaces. In this role, you will operate fabrication equipment, handle materials, and ensure precision in every project. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and power tools to move and position stone slabs efficiently and safely Use hand tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, polish, and finish stone surfaces according to blueprint specifications Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate dimensional measurements and proper assembly of stone components Handle materials carefully using proper lifting techniques and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as respirators, gloves, eye protection, and safety footwear Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment to promote a safe working environment Perform routine maintenance on machinery including machining, welding, and millwork tools to ensure optimal operation Adhere strictly to safety protocols and manufacturing standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations Requirements Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction or warehouse environments is highly preferred but not neccessay Proficiency with forklift operation, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately Basic math skills including the ability to take precise measurements using tape measures and other measuring devices Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, materials handling, welding, polishing, and use of PPE Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods Familiarity with materials handling processes involving stone or similar materials is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance Join us in creating beautiful stone surfaces while advancing your skills in a team environment!
