They serve waterfront residents, boaters, and marinas worldwide. Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder specializing in Aluminum TIG welding to join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely welding aluminum components using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques to ensure high-quality, durable metal assemblies. Your mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in delivering top-notch fabrication work that meets industry standards. Duties Perform aluminum TIG welding with precision according to blueprints and technical specifications Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to verify dimensions Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and fitting sheet metal components for welding or assembly Operate power tools and hand tools safely to assist in fabrication and assembly processes Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols at all times Conduct quality inspections on finished welds using appropriate measuring instruments to ensure compliance with AWS standards Experience Proven experience in aluminum TIG welding within a fabrication or manufacturing environment Strong understanding of blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation Hands-on experience with various welding techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), and stick welding Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, plasma cutting, machining, and assembly processes Knowledge of safety procedures related to metal fabrication shops and construction sites Ability to use calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately Mechanical knowledge related to metal materials, shop math, and basic math skills necessary for fabrication tasks Join us as a vital part of our team where your skills will contribute directly to building durable structures that stand the test of time.
