Progress Inc. is a provider agency that has been providing supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and seniors since 1971. Our Direct Support Professionals provide day, residential and employment assistance for the individuals we serve through DDA, CHOICES and ECF funded programs throughout Davidson and surrounding counties. We are looking for committed Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide person-centered support to 2 adults with intellectual disabilities in Pleasant View, TN.

• Schedule:

  2nd Shift (4p
• Midnight) Mon.
• Fri. $500 Sign-On
• payable after 90 days

Duties:

• Assist with regular evening / night time activities (meal preparation, dressing, hygiene, etc.)
• Remain awake and alert during client's sleep hours to ensure safety and provide assistance if wakes up
• Engage in activities the person(s) supported wants to do (Have conversation, play games, watch sports / movies, etc.)
• Perform routine cleaning and light chores around the house during shift
• Help people supported to achieve their goals and be involved in the community
• Complete and submit daily documentation

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma
• Must not be listed on any registries reporting any form of fraud or abuse
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have valid DL, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
• Must be able to complete approximately 40 hours of PAID pre-service training

Pay:

$15.75
