FABRICATOR
Automation Personnel Services is seeking several Fabricators for a manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. A Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and repairing metal components and structures according to specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
Pay Rate s:
Day shift: $19.00 per hour Night shift: $20.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Day shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm -overtime day
Friday Night Shift:
Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-4:30am-overtime night is Sunday Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials. Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, drills, presses, grinders, and welding machines. Fit, align, and secure components using welding, bolting, or fastening methods. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Document completed work and report defects or production issues. Fabricator Qualifications and Requirements Read measuring tools to 1 1/16th and blueprints (tape measure test will be administered) Previous fabrication, manufacturing, welding, or metalworking experience preferred. safely operate hand and power tools Frequently standing, bending, lifting, and carrying materials.
