As a Precision Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will transform drawings and specifications into accurate, durable parts and assemblies. Your day moves from reading prints and planning setups, to shaping and welding, to validating that every dimension hits the mark—all while keeping safety and quality at the forefront. A Day in the Life Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and specs to map out sequence of operations. Cut and form raw stock using saws, grinders, press brakes, shears, and CNC equipment. Fit and assemble components; weld using MIG, TIG, and stick processes as needed. Perform in-process checks—dimensional verification, fit-up, and finish—adjusting to maintain precision. Troubleshoot fabrication issues quickly to keep work flowing. Care for the tools you rely on: clean, maintain, and flag any needed repairs. Work safely—use PPE, follow OSHA guidelines, and keep your area clean and organized. Coordinate with engineers, designers, and teammates; share progress and suggest improvements. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in fabrication or welding preferred. Hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a closely related trade. Ability to interpret technical drawings and prints with confidence. Proven welding capability across MIG, TIG, and stick methods. Comfort operating fabrication machinery and shop tools. Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving and independent work habits. Certifications Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred. Forklift operation certification is a plus. Physical & Work Environment Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Stand, bend, and work in varied positions for extended periods. Comfortable in noisy, dusty, or hot shop conditions.
