Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing misc. and structural steel components. You will be part of a fast-growing team to ensure all products are installed to engineering specifications. Responsibilities Interpret shop drawings and structural drawings to accurately assemble and install metal products. Operate power tools, hand tools, acetylene torch, and welding equipment to perform Installation tasks efficiently. Use measuring instruments such as tape measure, laser level, transits and more to ensure precise measurements and quality standards. Perform welding operations including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Handle structural and misc. steel components on construction sites in a safe and responsible manner. Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment during all phases of installation. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspection reports, and compliance documentation. Experience Prior construction site experience or metal fabrication shop experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting shop drawings. Hands-on experience with welding techniques including
MIG, TIG, FCAW & SMAW.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation, welding procedures, and handling metal materials. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment effectively. Strong understanding of the construction process including machining usage, material cutting, assembly, and metal fabrication. Pay:
$22.00 per hour
