Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pallet Builder/Repairer and become a vital part of our manufacturing and logistics operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality pallets to ensure the safe transportation and storage of goods. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help keep our supply chain moving smoothly. Responsibilities Build sturdy pallets using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet precise specifications. Repair damaged pallets by replacing broken components, reinforcing structures, and restoring functionality. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly. Operate power tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols related to construction site work. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for pallet assembly and repair projects. Inspect finished pallets for quality control, ensuring they meet industry standards for durability and safety. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines for equipment use and material handling. Requirements Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing environments with knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Strong understanding of construction estimating, framing, woodworking, metal stud framing, and fixture installation is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, drywall repair, and restoration industry experience is a plus. Knowledge of power tool safety practices and experience with CNC machinery or assembly processes is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in quality control inspections. Prior experience working on construction sites or in restoration projects will be highly valued.
