Job Summary:
- Independently works off assessment skills to activate patient care protocols to deliver patient care within his/her full scope of practice as defined by the state of Tennessee and LifeFlight's scope of practice.
Department Summary:
LifeFlight Ground EMS started with a single ambulance in the fall of 2011, and after several expansions now includes a fleet pf 21 Advance Life Support (ALS) equipped ground ambulances operating from five locations in the Middle Tennessee areas: Nashville, Wilson County (Lebanon), Coffee County (Tullahoma), Montgomery County (Clarksville) and, Bedford County (adjacent to Vanderbilt Bedford). These ambulances predominantly focus on interfacility transfers and discharges from Vanderbilt affiliated medical facilities, with the ability to also support non- Vanderbilt facilities.
Shifts:
Variable (12) hour shifts to include some night, weekend and holidays 7a-7p, 8a-8p, 9a-9p, 7p-7a (M-F- 7a-7p, 7p-7a weekends Vanderbilt.
Sign-on Bonus:
$7,500 Sign onBonus Requirements:
The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions. .Key Responsibilities:
- + Complete documentation of transports/patient care performed using Vanderbilt and Unit specific compliance policy.
