Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies. Your expertise in various welding techniques, measurement tools, and fabrication processes will ensure the production of durable, accurate metal structures and parts. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to determine project specifications and requirements. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment. Perform welding operations experience preferred Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes to ensure components meet exact specifications. Operate fabrication machinery and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards. Requirements Proven construction site experience or background in mechanical or metal fabrication environments. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math calculations. Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools accurately. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and the use of hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, bending, and assembly. Mechanical knowledge related to construction materials, machining processes, plasma cutting (preferred but not required) , and assembly procedures. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding operations and fabrication environments. Experience working with construction site teams or in a fabrication shop setting is highly preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication tasks.
