Small, family owned, metal fabrication shop is seeking a fabrication shop assistant for full time employment. Job duties and requirements are as follows: Cut materials for fabrication using band saw, shear or angle grinder Drill and punch holes in material using iron worker machine or hand drills Prep materials for fabrication and paint Assist with fitting items for fabrication Occasionally assist with field installations (local travel only) Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and move material Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 measurements Must have knowledge of basic hand and power tools Must have basic knowledge of steel shapes and different materials (steel, stainless steel and aluminum) Experience with plasma cutting or torch cutting preferred but not required Must have reliable transportation Must be legally authorized to work in the

United States Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
