JOB# 864-342 Pacesetter Personnel Services is actively seeking Structural Fitters Class II for our client in the Brookshire, TX 77423 area.

Pay:

$ 25.00

•$27.00 an hour, depending on experience. We pay weekly.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday. Some weekends will be required. 1st shift: 6:00 am

•5:30 pm 2nd shift: 6:00 pm

•5:30 am Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and detailed fabrication drawings. Fit structural frameworks and components according to layouts and drawings. Cut, contour, and bevel metal plates and structural shapes to specified dimensions. Check grooves, angles, dimensions, and gap allowances using calipers and other precision measuring instruments. Burn, measure, and tack weld steel components to ensure proper alignment and assembly. Operate an overhead crane to safely move and position materials and assemblies. Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and according to specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company safety procedures.

Requirements:

3+ years of structural fitting experience required. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and fabrication drawings. Experience fitting and assembling structural steel components. Ability to accurately measure and identify material sizes and dimensions. Experience cutting, contouring, beveling, burning, and tack welding steel. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fabrication/industrial environment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
