In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on various metal materials, including miscellaneous steel and structural components, adhering to strict safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction projects and metal fabrication initiatives with a focus on safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. Duties Perform welding operations using various techniques such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards. Operate power tools, hand tools. Fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel and other metal components at active ground up construction sites. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings accurately and execute tasks efficiently. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites involving steel installation and welding tasks. Strong knowledge of welding techniques including FCAW, SMAW, and gas metal arc welding processes. Familiarity with blueprint reading and mechanical blueprint interpretation is a plus but is not required for this position. Hands-on experience with construction site equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to assembly processes, and use of hand tools is highly desirable. Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols in construction environments is essential for success in this role.
