Job Description
Job Overview DFW Door & Hardware is hiring an experienced Hollow Metal Door & Frame Fabricator to support our commercial door, frame and hardware operations. This role involves fabrication and assembly in a production shop environment supporting commercial construction projects. We are looking for a self-sufficient fabricator who can contribute immediately with the minimal supervision and maintain high quality standards across project-based work. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble hollow metal doors and frames Perform layout, measuring, cutting and assembly of components Execute MIG and/or spot welding on door and frame assemblies Complete hardware preparations, reinforcements, louvers, and glass kits Maintain productivity to meet shop and project deadlines Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience with Hollow metal doors and/or frames Proven MIG welding experience in a production environment Experience with commercial door/frame hardware prep and modifications Ability to work from work orders with minimal supervision Strong understanding of fabrication accuracy and quality standards Reliable attendance and consistent work performance Must be at least 21 years of age Preferred Qualifications Experience in a commercial door, frame, or hardware shop Forklift experience What We're looking for A production-minded fabricator who takes pride in quality work Detail-oriented and dependable Able to work independently and as part of a team Focused on delivering accurate, ready-to-install products Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Consistent schedule 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM 401 (K) 401(K) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s) Which of the following have you performed in a production environment?
