Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications. Erect and install structural steel beams, columns, trusses, joists, stairs, and miscellaneous metals. Bolt, weld, rig, align, and connect steel components according to project requirements. Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other construction equipment safely. Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials at job sites. Verify measurements and ensure proper alignment of steel structures. Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Work at elevated heights using appropriate fall protection equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with supervisors, crane operators, and crew members to complete projects on schedule. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience using welding, rigging, and steel erection equipment. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and construction site safety practices. Ability to work overtime and travel to out-of-town sites job sites as needed Food and lodging offered for out of town assignments.
