Weekly Pay + Benefits Position Overview We are seeking experienced Flux Core Welders to join our team in Livingston, TX. This position is for skilled welders with heavy structural steel fabrication experience who are proficient in Flux Core welding only . The ideal candidate will have experience running large-diameter flux core wire, producing quality structural welds, and working extended night shift hours in a demanding production environment. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and committed to meeting production goals. Job Responsibilities Perform Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) on heavy structural steel and fabricated steel components. Weld using 1 1/16" flux core wire — this position does not use .045 wire. Produce high-quality welds that meet company and customer specifications. Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings. Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently. Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Work extended night shift hours while maintaining productivity and attention to detail. Required Qualifications Previous experience as a Flux Core Welder in a steel fabrication or structural steel manufacturing environment. Must have hands-on experience welding with 1 1/16" flux core wire . Heavy fabrication and structural steel welding experience required. Must be able to pass a 3G Flux Core weld test through Postel . Weld testing will be scheduled by invitation only for qualified candidates. Must be available to work night shift and 70+ hours per week . Must be available and willing to work 7 days a week as required by production needs . Must have reliable transportation and dependable attendance . Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Weld Test Requirements Candidates must successfully complete a 3G Flux Core weld test through Postel before placement. Testing opportunities are invitation only and will be provided to qualified applicants.
