Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Skid Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling skids—integrated frameworks that support equipment—using a variety of tools and techniques. Your expertise will ensure the precision and quality of each assembly, contributing directly to our reputation for reliable products and industry excellence. Duties Assemble skid units by interpreting construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking, metalworking, and general assembly to construct robust frameworks. Install fixtures, piping, rebar, and other components onto skids following detailed instructions and safety protocols. Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to verify alignment, measurements, and overall integrity. Collaborate with fabrication teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and maintain production schedules. Ensure all safety procedures for power tool operation, heavy lifting, and material handling are strictly followed. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking and metal fabrication, CNC machinery, and woodworking machines. Knowledge of construction materials such as wood construction materials, siding, fixtures, and rebar. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics. Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems or plumbing related to skid components. Background in manufacturing processes including assembly lines or metal fabrication environments.
