Responsibilities:
Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and structural assembly Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components Install wire harnesses and avionics systems Execute surface preparation, chemical treatments, and paint/coating processes Apply protective coatings for corrosion resistance and finish requirements Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production orders Work on assemblies of moderate complexity following established procedures Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Qualifications:
High School Diploma 1+ year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ months in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication environments Experience working with safety, quality, and production metrics Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, standard work, continuous improvement) Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions Ability to operate hand tools and power tools Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 35 lbs Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
