We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fitter / Welder to join our team. This role is responsible for fitting and welding structural steel components while interpreting blueprints and ensuring precise measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

Fit and assemble structural steel components including beams, joists, webbing, connection plates, stiffeners, and supporting brackets Perform welding on structural steel components following specifications and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout instructions Accurately measure materials using a tape measure and decimal measurements Inspect workpieces to ensure proper fit-up and weld quality Follow all company safety and quality procedures Required Qualifications Ability to pass a 3/8" Flat Weld Test Ability to pass a Vertical Tack Test Ability to pass a Single Bead Vertical Test Ability to read and interpret blueprints Strong ability to read a tape measure and understand decimals Experience fitting structural steel
