In this energetic role, you will be an essential part of creating high-quality metal and wood products, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency at every step. Your mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills will drive the success of our fabrication projects, contributing to a vibrant, fast-paced environment where your craftsmanship makes a real impact. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive setting while working with state-of-the-art tools and adhering to top industry standards. Duties Operate power tools, hand tools, and machinery such as laser machines, CNC cutters, and machining equipment to shape and assemble wood and metal components Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to maintain quality standards Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling materials such as wood barrels and metal materials to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Assemble fabricated parts accurately using mechanical knowledge and hand tools to meet project specifications Skills Construction site experience or familiarity with industrial fabrication environments Understanding of shop math, basic math skills for measurements, and use of measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as machining and assembly Experience with power tools, hand tools, CNC and other fabrication equipment Knowledge of safety protocols specific to metal/wood fabrication shops or construction sites Embark on a career that combines craftsmanship with innovation!
