Job Description
The Peggs Company is a nation wide manufacturer with facilities across the US. We are currently looking for Technicians that are willing to work ON-SITE at our customers facilities. This position is Ideal for someone who likes traveling out of town and working with their hands. Position includes traveling via company truck to customer's locations to pressure wash & repair rolling racks & carts used by grocery and retail stores. Work is outside in most weather conditions. Over nights and travel out of town required for 2-3 weeks at a time. Lots of overtime work available. Essentials in Arc and Mig welding techniques. Must be 23 years or older with a clean driving record. Jumpstart your career in field service. Must be able to pass a DOT Federally regulated drug screen and Physical We're looking for a hands-on Service Technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and learning new skills. If you have basic mechanical ability and some welding experience, this is a great opportunity to grow into a lead role. What You'll Do Perform basic repairs and maintenance on carts and material handling equipment Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Assist with MIG and Arc welding tasks Travel to job sites and support daily service operations Load/unload materials and maintain your work truck Complete service orders and communicate with your team and customers What You Bring At least 6 months of hands-on or mechanical experience Basic knowledge of welding (MIG/Arc preferred) Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks Must be at least 21 years old Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a verifiable driving record Reliable, team-oriented, and ready to learn Physical Requirements Lift up to 70 lbs regularly Frequent walking, bending, and tool use Comfortable working in outdoor environments and varying conditions Why Join Us?
