This is a full-time opportunity for someone with hands-on fabrication, welding, grinding, and metalworking experience.

Pay:

$21.00-$27.60/hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-2:30 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM-9:00 AM Role Purpose The Fabricator is responsible for modifying and fabricating metal containers according to engineering drawings and production specifications. This position uses grinders, welding equipment, hand and power tools, fixtures, and precision measuring equipment to produce quality finished products. Responsibilities Perform fabrication and modifications on metal containers Use angle grinders to remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale Set up and operate spot welders for production jobs Mark, fit, and join sheet metal materials, including aluminum and stainless steel Perform welding and metal fabrication according to job specifications Use fixtures to complete repetitive production work accurately Read and follow engineering drawings, measurements, and specifications Inspect completed work using precision measuring equipment Operate hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment Follow written and verbal work instructions Maintain quality and workmanship standards Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Qualifications 1+ year of fabrication experience required 2 years of fabrication and/or welding experience preferred Experience using angle grinders, welders, hand tools, and power tools Experience working with sheet metal, aluminum, stainless steel, or similar materials preferred Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and measurements Comfortable using precision measuring tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to speak, read, and understand English Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Why Choose Atlas Staffing Atlas Staffing is an employment agency that offers great benefits for our temporary and temp-to-hire staffing associates.
