Tig Welder

Aerotek is hiring TIG welders for a fabrication company in Spokane Valley!

Job Duties:

Performing TIG welding on stainless steel, mid steel, and aluminum. Welding on a variety of thicknesses of metal, ranging from 18 gauge to 5/8". Working from blueprints, cutting, fitting, tacking, and welding. Occasional MIG and laser welding. Straightening metal to meet tight tolerances. Using precision measuring instruments, including a Faro Arm, to ensure fabrication tolerances are met. Grinding and polishing welds and metal, shop labor, and material handling. Completing required paperwork, including quality verifications, weld records, and other build records.

Requirements :

Demonstrated proficiency with TIG and MIG welding. 5 years of on-the-job welding experience preferred. Must have blueprint reading and fitting experience. Ability to pass a 3G TIG and MIG complete joint penetration weld test on stainless steel.

Details:

Day and swing shifts are available. Overtime will often be available. This is a direct-hire job. Pay starts at $28 - $38+/hr, depending on experience and results of a weld test. Room for growth in pay based on performance. Benefits including medical insurance, paid non-working holidays, and 401k contribution, sign on bonus, and annual bonus program are also available. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Spokane Valley, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79497.60/yr.
