We are seeking an experienced and dependable Welder / Fabricator / Installer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys seeing a project progress from raw material to completed installation. Job Responsibilities Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, sketches, and structural plans Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and fabricate steel, stainless, aluminum and other metals Perform MIG, TIG, laser, and/or stick welding, depending on project requirements Fabricate bespoke architectural metalwork and structural steel components Grind, finish, clean and prepare welds and fabricated surfaces Operate shop equipment such as saws, drills, presses, grinders, and related tools Prepare materials and assemblies for delivery and installation Install fabricated metalwork and structural steel at residential, commercial, and other job sites Use hand tools, power tools, lifts, ladders, and rigging equipment safely Inspect completed work for accuracy, finish, and structural integrity Work independently and collaboratively to meet project schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and job-site environment Follow company safety procedures and applicable building and job-site requirements Qualifications Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Previous experience in welding, metal fabrication, structural steel, architectural metalwork. Ability to read and understand shop drawings and measurements Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding required; laser welding experience is a plus Strong knowledge of metal preparation, fitting, fabrication, and finishing Comfortable working with multiple metals and finishes Basic ability to use tape measures, levels, squares, and other layout tools Ability to safely operate common fabrication tools and equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift and move materials and work safely in a physically demanding environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn and take on new challenges Preferred Qualifications Experience with architectural metalwork Structural steel fabrication or field-installation experience Experience working from detailed drawings and project specifications Familiarity with rigging, forklifts, lifts, or job-site equipment Welding certifications Experience with finish work, including grinding, brushing, polishing, or surface preparation Ability to work with minimal supervision Physical Requirements This position may require: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions for extended periods Lifting and moving materials.
