Job Description
Mirror Image Metal Finishing is looking for a fabricator. This person would work closely with the owner, coordinator, and foreman on projects. The ideal candidate would have attention to detail and knowledge of different kinds of metal. Operation of manufacturing equipment, especially the Laser for cutting, in order to complete projects to customer specifications. Responsibilities Read blueprints and drawings provided by customer, be familiar with Cad program. Set up equipment needed for jobs tasked that day. Process parts according to routing sheet in job traveler. Spot check for accuracy by taking measurements. Keep workflow efficient throughout the day. Perform inspection of parts to ensure quality. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to operate equipment
