6:00am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Metal Fabricator for a company in Elkhorn, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 1st shift. Metal Fabricator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Fabricate and assemble metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to complete jobs accurately
- Cut, bend, form, and prepare materials following required tolerances
- Operate equipment such as saws, presses, benders, grinders, and drilling machines
- Inspect finished components to ensure proper fit, weld quality (if applicable), and overall accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety procedures at all times
- Assist with material handling, staging, and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Metal Fabricator Requirements:
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Preferred experience with stainless steel fabrication
- Preferred welding experience (TIG/MIG) is a plus
- Preferred familiarity with sanitary fittings, piping, or custom metal assemblies
