We fabricate individual components, assemblies or complete products to meet our customer's unique specifications. We specialize in metal fabrication- using light- to medium-thickness metals. CMP serves a number of industries including- Electronics component and assemblies; Lighting/Energy; Industrial equipment- machine enclosures; Electrical Enclosure; Material handling equipment and storage; medical, safety and military. ~ Your American Fabrication Partner ~

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
~ Blueprint & Technical Interpretation Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications Apply knowledge of weld symbols and tolerances to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards Fabrication & Assembly Assemble metal components and structures according to design and quality requirements Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum of varying thicknesses Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Quality & Precision Measure and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments Verify finished products meet or exceed quality standards and industry codes Identify weld defects and perform corrective actions to ensure high-quality output Equipment & Maintenance Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition Perform basic upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery Workplace Organization & Safety Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work safely around heat, fumes, compressed gases, and other industrial hazards HOURS ~ 4 10's Production Schedule Mon-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm (Occasional OT on Fridays)
QUALIFICATIONS
~ High school diploma or GED required 3+ years of MIG welding experience (carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum preferred) Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred Strong understanding of blueprints, tolerances, and weld symbols Experience in an
ISO 9001
environment is a plus Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
