Primarily Overnight (6PM - 4 AM window, 8-12 hr shifts - varies by customer jobs) Position Overview The Industrial Cleaning Technician I is an entry-level field technician responsible for assisting in the cleaning and maintenance of commercial kitchen exhaust systems and industrial equipment. This role involves overnight field work, physical labor, rooftop access, and operation of cleaning equipment under supervision. No direct hood-cleaning experience is required. Structured training is provided. Key Responsibilities Assist in cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans) Operate pressure washers, degreasers, and manual cleaning tools under supervision Set up containment and protect customer property Work safely on ladders, rooftops, and elevated areas Maintain professional jobsite conduct Travel locally to customer sites in company vehicles Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license Ability to lift 55 lbs and work at heights Ability to work overnight shifts Pass background screening Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Helpful Transferable Experience Warehouse or distribution night shift Landscaping crew Construction labor Industrial sanitation Restoration (water/fire/mold) Pressure washing Facilities maintenance helper Military field roles Advancement Opportunity Technicians may promote to Level II based on: Demonstrated safe independent work Equipment proficiency Confined space certification Driving clearance
