Job Description
Description We are hiring for a field technician that will be supporting our operations and maintenance efforts at a landfill gas site. Analyzation of landfill well data in an proprietary data collection system. Duties include wellfield reading and tuning, SEMs and probes, and flare checks. Will have a company vehicle after 2 months of training at similar sites close by. Skills Landfill, Landfill gas, Environmental engineering, Data entry, Hazwoper, Environmental field, Environmental testing, Field sampling, Data collection Top Skills Details Field work experience in a civil, environmental, utility environment or similar Mechanically minded and experience in an mechanical, HVAC, or military environment Clean Driving Record, company does run a Motor Vehicle Report Additional Skills & Qualifications Landfill gas tuning and reading experience is a plus 40HR
HAZWOPER
is required- if you do not have one company will get you certified. Pipe fusion/pipe welding is a plus Working Environment Will train for 2 months and sites between Westminster to Baltimore, then will go to "home" site in Rockville, MD. This is a landfill where we have a gas collection system and are responsible for monitoring and tuning the wellfield. This is a maintenance/field tech role with independent responsibility and self-accountability. Will report to a Superintendent and manages 11 sites in the region. Will receive a company truck and fuel card once onsite at "home" location. Benefits Benefits through Blue Cross Blue Shield, 401K, weekly pay, 7 holidays, and 80 hours of PTO provided at 6 months. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
