Job Title:
Landfill Gas TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Landfill Gas Technician to support our operations and maintenance efforts. This role involves consistent travel in a company vehicle, picking up equipment and supplies, taking photos of field projects for management, and performing rechecks in the field to gather data on surface emissions missed by other technicians. Overnight travel may be required, and per diem will be provided. Responsibilities + Travel to various locations to pick up equipment and supplies. + Take photographs of field projects for management documentation. + Conduct rechecks in the field to gather data on surface emissions missed by other technicians. + Perform data entry related to field activities and environmental testing. Essential Skills + Experience in landfill gas and environmental engineering. + Proficiency in data entry and environmental fieldwork. + Knowledge of environmental testing and field sampling. + Mechanical experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + ISCO pipe fusion certification is a plus. + Experience in data collection. + Travel experience. + Clean driving record as verified by a 3-year Motor Vehicle Report. + Experience working in outdoor environments such as military, landfill, or field service. Work Environment This position involves traveling within Texas, Louisiana, and surrounding states as required. Employees work for the largest environmental engineering firm supporting landfill gas projects across the US. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
