Job Description
This position serves as an entry-level technician performing basic maintenance and repair tasks while developing skills in utility system operations. Work is performed under close supervision.
Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment operation and utility system components. Basic understanding of materials, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of County water and wastewater systems. General understanding of how water distribution and wastewater collection systems function. Awareness of occupational hazards, safety practices, and applicable laws and regulations.
