The Senior Landscape Designer will craft custom 2D and 3D designs that harmonize with the desert environment, bringing high-end residential visions to life. This role is focused on consultative selling while delivering artistic and innovative landscaping solutions for discerning homeowners. Based in Phoenix, AZ, this premier landscape design and build firm has spent nearly three decades creating stunning, custom outdoor environments across the metropolitan area. Responsibilities Formulate custom 2D and 3D landscape designs that seamlessly integrate hardscaping, vibrant plant selections, and desert surroundings. Consult with clients to understand their property characteristics, lifestyle needs, and overall project goals. Collaborate closely with in-house construction and installation teams to ensure artistic concepts are accurately translated into the final build. Integrate weather-intuitive irrigation systems, permeable materials, and water management solutions for sustainable, environmentally friendly upkeep. Design complementary outdoor elements, including sophisticated lighting, elegant water features, and comfortable living areas. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and exceptional client satisfaction from concept to completion. Requirements Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or equivalent experience preferred. Proven experience in landscape design, landscape architecture, or a closely related field. Proficiency in utilizing 2D and 3D landscape design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar). Deep understanding of desert flora, horticulture, and xeriscaping best practices suited for arid climates. Strong foundational knowledge of hardscaping materials, outdoor lighting, and residential irrigation systems. Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively pitch designs to clients and guide internal construction crews.
