Job Description

A highly creative, design-focused landscape architecture and urban design studio in San Francisco is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join its growing team. This is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit, approximately 6-person studio working on thoughtful, contemporary projects across residential, hospitality, civic, and public realm sectors. The practice is centrally located in San Francisco and is known for producing refined, highly conceptual work with a strong emphasis on design quality, collaboration, and client relationships. The studio is looking for someone with genuine creativity, strong visual and conceptual thinking, and the confidence to contribute ideas within a highly collaborative design environment. Personality and communication skills are hugely important for this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting ideas, building client relationships, and operating confidently in meetings and project discussions. This would suit someone who enjoys working within a smaller, highly design-led studio where individuals have real influence, visibility, and involvement across all project phases.
Key responsibilities:
Contributing to concept design and project development Producing high-quality presentation and drawing packages Supporting client meetings and presentations Coordinating with architects, consultants, and project teams Assisting with project delivery and documentation Contributing creatively across multiple project types and scales
Requirements:
Degree in Landscape Architecture Strong design portfolio with excellent graphic presentation skills Confidence communicating with clients and consultants Highly creative and collaborative mindset Strong personality and ability to contribute ideas confidently Experience across high-end residential, hospitality, or urban projects preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, or related software This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a respected boutique studio environment where design quality, collaboration, and personality genuinely matter.
