Landscape Architect Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Landscape Architect to join our team. This role involves hands-on design work, including the preparation of master plans and site and landscape architectural design plans using AutoCAD. You will design wetlands enhancements and creation, conduct site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and soils testing for septic and stormwater systems. Additionally, you will interface with clients, community officials, consultants, and present site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions. Your role will also involve creating a supportive learning environment for supervised employees to help advance their careers. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of master plans and site and landscape architectural design plans using AutoCAD. Design wetlands enhancements and wetlands creation. Conduct site visits for analysis, data collection, monitoring, and soils testing for septic and stormwater systems. Interface with clients, community officials, and consultants. Present site plans to local regulatory boards and commissions. Foster a learning environment for supervised employees to advance their careers. Essential Skills Landscape design Landscape architecture Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience in site design, including grading and site lighting Licensed Professional Landscape Architect BS or MS degree in Landscape Architecture from a program accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB) Additional Skills & Qualifications Civil 3D Land development experience Licensing in CT, MA, or RI Work Environment The role involves working with advanced design technologies such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. You will be required to conduct site visits, which may include outdoor activities such as data collection and monitoring. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
