Landscape Architect / Project Manager David M. Jones, Jr. & Associates, Inc. (DMJA) Fort Myers, Florida David M. Jones, Jr. & Associates, Inc. (DMJA), an established Landscape Architecture and Planning firm in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Architect to join our growing studio. This position is intended for a candidate with approximately 4+ years of professional experience who is ready to take ownership of projects while working directly with firm leadership on a wide variety of commercial, municipal, parks, mixed-use, and development projects throughout Southwest Florida. Position Responsibilities Project management and consultant coordination Preparation of landscape permit and construction plans Landscape code research and compliance calculations Planting design and site planning Coordination with civil engineers, architects, and clients Assistance with project scheduling and production workflow Field observations and occasional site visits Required Qualifications Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program Minimum 4 years of professional experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Ability to prepare permit-level landscape plans and details Understanding of Florida landscape codes and permitting processes Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Florida Landscape Architect licensure or path toward licensure Experience with Land F/X software Irrigation design experience Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, or graphic presentation skills Experience coordinating directly with municipalities and review agencies About
