(DMJA), an established Landscape Architecture and Planning firm in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Architect to join our growing studio. This position is intended for a candidate with 3+ years of professional experience who is detail-oriented and is ready to help strengthen our production team and improve project delivery.

Position Overview:

This role focuses on keeping projects moving efficiently from design through completion. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys problem-solving, producing accurate work, managing details, and helping a team deliver projects on time. This position will support our licensed Landscape Architect and help improve workflow, communication, and turnaround times.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare landscape plans, planting plans. amenity plans, and presentation graphics
• Coordinate project production with the Principal Landscape Architect
• Help maintain project schedules and meet deadlines
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and municipal reviewers
• Review drawings for quality, accuracy, and permit compliance
• Assist with project problem-solving throughout design and permitting
• Contribute ideas that improve studio workflow and project delivery

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of landscape architecture/design experience preferred
• Strong production and technical skills
• Experience with AutoCAD and landscape design documentation
• Experience with Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or rendering software is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Professional communication skills
