We're Sarasota's go-to team for outdoor transformations, blending artistry with nature to create immersive environments that feel like extensions of home. From elegant courtyards and tropical hideaways to stylish paver patios, pergolas, and even interior plant installations—we design it all. And we don't stop at individual homes. Our projects scale up to full homeowner associations, luxury condos, and commercial developments across the Gulf Coast. This is more than landscape design—it's lifestyle design . What You'll Do:
Dream up and design one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces that feel personal and intentional Collaborate directly with residential and commercial clients—from concept to completion Use design software like Visterra (or similar) to bring visions to life Integrate plants, pavers, pergolas, lighting, water features, and more into cohesive outdoor environments Conduct site visits and lead the design phase with a focus on both beauty and function Coordinate with vendors, installers, and subs to ensure what's on paper becomes real—flawlessly Stay ahead of trends in outdoor living, sustainable design, and Florida-friendly landscaping
What You Bring:
A creative soul with an eye for detail and a love for natural beauty Proven experience in landscape design—residential, commercial, or both Comfort with design software and a strong understanding of plant palettes and hardscape materials Excellent communication and client relationship skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with poise Bonus points if you have knowledge of local codes, HOA guidelines, or experience managing installs Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred Licensure or certification in landscape architecture is a plus, but not required Why Troy's Tropics?
