Job Description

Overview:
The selected candidate would be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of commercial maintenance accounts, as well as developing and selling new business for new clients, generating proposals and contracts , extensive knowledge of horticultural and maintenance practices, knowledge of installation practices, working individually and collaboratively with employees of all levels, and building relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage an existing commercial landscape maintenance portfolio Meet with clients regarding landscape services and site improvements Increase sales of seasonal enhancements Monitor client preferences to determine focus of sales efforts Resolve customer concerns regarding sales and service Review operational records and reports to forecast sales and determine profitability Expand upon the existing client base by generating new sales leads Preparation of contract renewals and proposals Visit client locations to ensure quality of work is exceeding expectations Assess performance of landscape crews based on quality and efficiency Provide reports to the
President Additional Duties:
Work with the snow team in the winter months Work interdepartmentally to expand sales revenues
Qualifications:
High school diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 2 years landscape industry experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Self-motivated and able to work effectively with a team Strong leadership skills Proven sales and account management history Bilingual a plus Valid driver's license
Additional Information:
This position is a full-time, year-round position with a salary commensurate with experience, optional commission based compensation and a benefits package offered.
