Family Service Counselor - Memorialization Specialist Forest Home Cemetery | Forest Park, IL $20-$22/hour

+ Additional Bonus Opportunities Forest Home Cemetery is seeking a motivated, organized, and sales-oriented professional to join our growing team! This unique position combines at-need and preneed cemetery sales with primary responsibility for our headstone and memorialization program. We're looking for someone who can build relationships with families, generate sales, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. What You'll Do Guide families through cemetery and memorialization purchases. Lead at-need and preneed burial arrangements. Manage headstone orders, designs, and installations. Coordinate with monument dealers, vendors, and grounds personnel. Handle permits, work orders, and customer follow-up. Collaborate with fellow counselors in our busy, team-oriented office. What We're Looking For Strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent organization, initiative, and follow-through. Confidence working independently and managing multiple priorities. Cemetery, funeral service, or monument experience preferred, but not required. Willingness to cross-train in all cemetery sales and office operations. Ability to pass background check.
