Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and innovative Landscape Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating inspiring outdoor spaces that blend aesthetic appeal with functional sustainability. Your expertise will help transform client visions into detailed, executable plans that enhance environments and promote eco-friendly practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, including urban landscapes, and residential developments, while advancing your skills in landscape architecture and design technology. Duties Develop comprehensive landscape designs using advanced software's as to produce detailed plans and visualizations. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals through effective communication and presentation creation. Conduct site analysis, including space planning and data collection, to inform sustainable architecture principles and environmentally conscious solutions. Review construction drawings and plans for accuracy, building code compliance, and constructability to ensure seamless project execution. Prepare detailed construction documents, including planting plans, grading schemes, irrigation layouts, and hardscape details. Coordinate with project managers and contractors to review construction plans, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Assist in project scheduling and management by tracking milestones, budgets, and resource allocation for efficient project delivery. Skills Proficiency in design software Strong understanding of sustainable architecture practices and eco-friendly landscape solutions. Experience with building information modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project planning. Knowledge of building code regulations related to landscape architecture Excellent client communication skills to present ideas clearly and incorporate feedback effectively. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective project scheduling and time management skills. Data analysis skills for site assessments, environmental impact evaluations, and resource optimization. General plant knowledge is preferred but not required.
